That moment was as if just a blink away,
when she swooped in, and made her way.
Albeit the little one, if only I may,
filled our hearts with love, fore’er to stay that way.

That day you were fondly looking about.
Saplings yourself! you witnessed the little seed sprout.
With your little arms, as you cradled and caressed,
promises were made — those couldn’t be suppressed!
To love and care and cultivate and nurture,
through rain or shine, and adversities in future.

The order was tall but your optimism heady.
You dismissed the toil, maybe you weren’t ready.
But as seasons pass and the sprout keeps growing,
the strength of your commitment is clearly showing.

Along the way, there were a few slips and swipes.
Relax, they’re expected! Why would we lie?
But it’s also true that you’ve earned your stripes,
through love for each other that just won’t die.

While we celebrate the birthday of this fawn,
we also remember, the relationship's twin born.
The little one is sprightly, refreshing, and anew,
but she only thrives in a garden made by you!

Thanks for reading!
